Who will be the 2012 Finalists?
A prestigious judging panel will now sift through the nominations and engage in panel discussions to identify three finalists in each of the five Award categories – Health Care-Givers, Socio-economic Business Developers, Educators, Good Neighbours Against Crime and Youth Movers.
Nurturing Sustainable ImpactThe Award has partnered with the Wheat Women’s Fund to ensure sustainability by assisting the winners to manage the R100 000 towards their projects.

High quality nominations received
Nominations for the 2012 Shoprite Checkers Women of the Year Award have closed and the organisers said that top calibre nominations were received from all over the country to name South Africa’s most outstanding women of this year.
